Welcome!

I believe God wishes for everyone to enjoy a deep, abiding, continuing relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. There is a satisfaction and peace we can only know in a loving friendship and relationship with our Creator. Virtually everything in this world distracts our hearts and minds from God. We seek satisfaction and meaning in everything but God. In the midst of these many voices clamoring for our attention, God calls to us clearly and lovingly through Jesus Christ to know Him and enjoy Him. He calls followers of Jesus Christ to an ever deeper relationship with Him and He calls those who have yet to enter into a relationship with Him to come to Him through Jesus Christ.

You might be surprised how much our desires and wants cloud our relationship with Christ. As we lay these things aside and instead ask, "Lord, what do You want?", we will draw deeper into Christ.

I describe some of the key elements of our life in Christ in the article Dying, Submitting, Listening, Obeying. That which is pleasing to God comes from God alone. Only as we learn to deny ourselves, listen to Him and obey Him will our lives be filled more and more with Christ.

I rejoice in Christ as He has given me understanding in the truth of how His design for us is that Christ is our entire strength and life in all things. The article, Walk in the Spirit not the flesh, describes this incredible truth of God's provision for our life in Christ.

Andrew Murray's book "Abiding in Christ" was loaned to me by a brother in Christ just recently and I have found the truths about our relationship with Christ to be most profound. The book wonderfully explains the truth that Christ is the essence and source of our life. We are in Him and He is in us. 

I also just finished reading another Andrew Murray book, "Humility", which clearly brings out important of humility in any believers life. Another must read.

Thirdly, a composite of one of William Law's articles on how we must be careful that truths we learn must become part of our life and not just an intellectual curiosity has really challenged my heart.
